Advanced research
Using advice
With advanced research, you can:
- Limit the research to a part of the site.
- Limit the research to one or more criteria
- Find the documents containing a word or a group of words, even if not in the title.
- Find the elements linked to a product or a particular use.
Research options
You can specify if the results must be limited to the answers corresponding to all specified criteria (AND), or if the answer with only one criteria is enough (OR).
Parts of the site
In order to target well your research, and obtain a shorter and more relevant list of results, you just have to untick the parts of the site in which you do not want the engine to search.
Research terms
You can combine five types of terms: key word(s), product code, commercial name, document type, document name and document reference.
For each one of them, you type the word or expression on which the research will be done.
To add a term, click on icon + on right of the typing area.
To cancel a term, click on icon - on left of icon +
By specifying many time the same type of term, your research will be made on one or more words or expression of the same nature.
For example, a research on key words "Top3" and "klor" in mode "AND" will find the "Top3 / Reva-Klor" method. The same research in OR mode will give you everythin about "Top3" and everything about "klor", so many more results but less relevant.
Examples
If you research the term "filt" you will obtain all answers of these letters, for example, the words "filter", "filtrate", "filtration", etc ...
If you research the word "filter", the result will exclude the answers of the word "filtration" but will include those of the word "filtering".
